IKECA has officially launched our YouTube channel. This additional platform will be used to further educate and inform our members, the industry, government agencies, and the public about fire prevention.
Our first video series was filmed during the 2015 Annual Membership Meeting in Fort Lauderdale. Entitled “Forensic Investigation: Partnering with AHJs to become better service providers”, the panel filmed was comprised of AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) representatives discussing the crucial partnership between service providers and AHJs. Led by Oliver Moore, the panel explored all aspects of post-fire investigations—and the important roles that service companies play.
This Forensic Investigation series illuminates several functions of service providers that AHJs depend on for investigations. For example, as addressed in the video below, deficiency reports provided by service companies are utilized in government investigations of criminal cases.
This series is the first of many IKECA will be sharing with the public. Check back on our channel for more valuable discussions and information surrounding fire prevention.
